UAE health authorities launched an updated version of “Al Hosn” app, the national digital healthcare platform, in September. In August, the UAE Government approved federal decrees and amendments of certain provisions on the regulations of healthcare professions and healthcare providers and veterinary medicine. The amendments aim to aggravate penalties for healthcare workers who practice without a license and those who do not meet the requirements.
